The privately owned vineyards are grown organically, under the inspection and certification of DIO organization highlighting all the wonderful organoleptic characteristics of the local terror, while the production and storage of the wine is done with the most natural way ensuring the rich character of all labels.
We shall watch a short film of Cretan wines and vineyards; take part at a private tour of the cellar, the production area and the rest of the estate. A visit to the wine-tasting hall is definitely worthwhile, to enjoy the wines of the estate.
Our excursion continues to Katalagari village where our cook will guide us on the way of preparing the dishes and how they have to be cooked. All the secrets of the Cretan diet will be revealed while you will discover the health that the olive oil offers! While the food that you have prepared is cooked in the oven, you will have the chance to attend a presentation of how the fields used to be cultivated and which were the nutritional habits of the old Cretans… Soon after and since our appetite will be sharpened, it will be time to taste the dishes that we have prepared together with seasonal salad, fruits, ntakos, local dishes and raki.
